Serato DJ's primary feature is an excellent plug-and-play support for various audio devices. Besides using the mouse, to play, adjust or scratch, you can use various keyboards shortcuts as well. You can use various controls while playing a track, to create up to eight custom queue points on the track, define auto-loop and beat jump lengths and much more. Additionally, the program lets you organize the files in folders and smart folders.Īll you have to do is drag and drop a file over a mixing panel and start playing. You can browse through your local files and import audio files on the same interface, beneath the mixing panel. The user interface presents everything you would expect from a DJ's mixing deck. Its setup file is over 200 MB, which may take some time to download, but installing its components should not take more than a minute. Serato DJ is available for Windows and Mac OS X and it provides full support for both 32 and 64-bit operating systems. It also lets you set up queue points, beat jump lengths and much more, with only a few clicks. The software makes queuing tracks and switching between them a comfortable experience. Serato DJ can be connected to a wide range of audio hardware, which makes it an excellent tool for playing music in front of a crowd.
